Jake Jimenez just turned 23 when he made a fateful decision to go on Snapchat to buy an oxycodone. It turned out to be a counterfeit pill made to look identical to oxy, but it contained pure fentanyl. He took one pill and it killed him instantly.
Youth make poor decisions sometimes, but that should not cost them their life. Jake was a smart, funny, kind soul who enjoyed life and would help a friend in an instant. He was always participating in school activities, and was a great wrestler. He aspired to be a fireman, but that dream was taken by someone who knew he was selling a counterfeit pill, but had no regard for human life.
